
POROS
Poros, is a welcoming island in any season, 30 min by car and/or by boat from our resort. The tour of the island takes about an hour by car. You can visit the monastery of Zoodochou Pigis or walk around the archeological site with the remains of the temple of Poseidon or just rest in the shadow of the pine trees.

ERMIONI
Ermioni is one of the closest towns to the resort, it’s a 15 minute drive. The female name of Ermioni derives from the name Ermis and means “the one who carries the beauty of Ermis”. It is listed before classical times and was well known for its shipbuilders and the production of “porfera” – red dye- used for the colouring of the uniforms of many armies including that of Alexander the Great.

HYDRA
Hydra island is located just 20 min. away from our dock and is considered to be the little gem of the Argosaronic sea. Though quite a few years passed since S. Loren stepped ashore the town, rising amphitheatrically around the port seems unchanged from how it appeared in the film “The Boy on a Dolphin” which made Hydra famous.

EPIDAUROS
Epidauros is 50 minute drive from the resort. The ancient theatre of Epidaurus is part of Unesco World Heritage. It is regarded as the best preserved ancient theatre in Greece in terms of its perfect acoustics, its unique architecture and harmonious proportions. It was constructed in the late 4th century BC by Popykleitos, on the side of a mountain, overlooking the sanctuary of Asklepios.

SPETSES
Spetses can be accessed either by boat or car, it is a 30 minute ride by boat from the resort or a 30 minute drive until Kosta + 5 minute boat ride. The elegance of Spetses strikes you the moment you spot the oft-photographed houses on the coast line, typical of the period of the Greek Revolution of 1821.

NAFPLION
Naflion 1 hour and 15 minutes drive away from the resort. It is one of the most romantic cities all over Greece, Nafplion was the first capital of the newly born Greek state between 1823-1834. The town’s history traces back to pre-historic era. Franks, Venetians and Turkish conquerors left their mark in the town and strongly influenced its culture, architecture and traditions during the centuries.
